Speaking of the Vagrant Records sampler I was reminded of this record and my jaw dropped when I heard the name because I loved this record when i was like.. however old i was in 98-99.
Anyways Boxer put out the first record on Vagrant and were from my home city. I just love all bands that sound like Lifetime I cant help it. and I appreciate pop punk from a time when it still wasnt really all that listenable and your mom wouldnt be into.
I was reminded of this band the other day and I was totally taken back. I wasnt a huge Face to Face fan, I didnt own any of their records but I did have the Vagrant Records ” 5 Years on The Streets” sampler and there was a sheet that had little thumbnail photos of the record covers. So when I saw the Face To Face cover of the black&white photo of the guy with no shirt on standing in front of a mirror and it hit me ” I REMEMBER YOU”
